Vande Mataram @150: An Eternal Ode to the Motherland

The Embassy commemorated the 150th Anniversary of Vande Mataram with a vibrant Cultural Evening at Seongsu Art Hall on August 07, celebrating the song that ignited a nation’s spirit and continues to inspire generations.

A memorable highlight of the evening was a stirring rendition of Vande Mataram by Ms. Kim Jae- won, Member of the National Assembly of RoK. The celebration also featured captivating performances by Korean friends and the Indian community, including an address in Sanskrit by Prof. Lim Geum-dong, recipient of the 2019 Bharat Mitra Samman – Sanskrit Award.
