About Us Director’s Message

Annyeonghaseyo
 Namaste

Swami Vivekananda Culture Centre (SVCC) in Seoul since its establishment has been striving hard to introduce Indian culture and art forms to Korean nationals and promote cross cultural understanding between India and the Republic of Korea.

Through its regular classes on classical and contemporary dances of India and traditional yoga and meditation and special classes on Hindi language, Odissi and Tabla, SVCC offers students and visitors an interesting insight into Indian culture. Our ‘Know India’ lecture series, involving Korean professionals and scholars, complements efforts to introduce India in a better perspective and break stereotypes about India. SVCC also offers ‘Visitor’s programme’ and ‘Cultural Experience’ programme for students from school and university and other interested entities with a sole aim to promote cultural understanding and make more Koreans aware about India.

SVCC with excellent infrastructure and inhouse facilities provides platform for budding artists, scholars and academia to organise events and activities which could complement our efforts to strengthen cultural relations between India and the Republic of Korea.

Over the years, SVCC also built an extensive network of partnership with various cultural organisations, city administrations and provincial governments across the Republic of Korea which helps our Centre to effectively reach out to wider audience outside Seoul.

SVCC has a team of highly qualified, experienced and dedicated faculty and office bearers who devote their full time and energy to ensure that our Centre fully meets your requirements.

While we work hard to ensure that every student, visitor and partner organisation benefit from associating with us, we are always open to suggestion and feedback to improve ourselves.

In line with popular proverb that ‘We need two hands to clap’ – We at SVCC look forward to your active support and encouragement to realise our goal of introducing India and its diverse culture and art forms to Korean friends.

Thank You.

Mrs. Ananya Agarwal
Director of Swami Vivekananda Cultrual Centre
