Indian Cultural Centre and Embassy of India, Seoul organised the the 130th Birth Anniversary Celebrations of the architect of Indian Constitution and one of the legendary figures among the makers of Modern India – Dr. B. R. Ambedkar which is a part of the Special lecture series under India@75 celebrations.

On this occasion, a Special Lecture was delivered by Dr. Narendra Jadhav, a Member of Parliament and an expert on Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’s ideas and philosophy who has written extensively on life and times of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar and Korean translation of his book ‘Untouchables’ remains a household name among the friendly people of Korea. 
Dr. Jadhav, in his Special Address shared his views on the multidimensional character of Dr. B. R. Ambedkar along with his life-long dedication to awaken the social conscience of modern India.

H. E. Sripriya Ranganathan, Ambassador of India to Republic of Korea gave the welcome remarks highlighting the contribution on Dr. Ambedkar on women’s empowerment and building up an inclusive India.

The session was moderated by Dr. Sonu Trivedi, Director of the Indian Cultural Centre and organised in partnership with the Dept of Political Science, Zakir Husain Delhi College, University of Delhi.
