International Symposium on Mahatma Gandhi

Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre, Embassy of India, Seoul organized International Symposium on Mahatma Gandhi (Topic: Emerging World Order and the Gandhian Way) via Video Conference on 7^th October 2020 in commemoration of birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. 

H.E. Sripriya Ranganathan, Ambassador of India to the Republic of Korea gave welcome address followed by Prof. Chanwahn Kim, Director of Institutes of Indian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies. Keynote address was delivered by Mr. Dipankar Shri Gyan, Director of Gandhi Smriti and Darshan Samiti, Mr. Oh Young-jin, President of The Korea Times and Prof. Chintamani Mahaptra, Rector of Jawaharlal Nehru University gave special address. 

The programme included presentations by Mr. Lee Byung Gon, Principal of Jecheon Gandhi School (Chungbuk province), Dr. Sanjeev Kumar Tiwari, Principal of Maharaja Agrasen College, University of Delhi, Dr. Ji Yeon-jung, Research Professor Institute of Indian Studies, Hankuk University of Foreign Studies, and Dr. Priya Bhalla, Former Fellow, Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, New Delhi.
